Pricing And Payment

Payments can be made by Visa, Mastercard, Solo, Switch and Delta cards, you can also pay by cheque or bankers draft prior to delivery, all cheques will require 7 working days for clearance. Please make cheques payable to ‘Hanson Electrical Ltd. Payments by cash must be made in person in the store.

Full payment for your goods will be taken prior to dispatch from our warehouse.

If billing and delivery addresses are not the same, we may require a utility bill for confirmation.

All Prices include VAT, unless otherwise stated.

 

Hanson Electrical Price Guarantee

We will match or beat any lower local advertised or ticketed price available to all members of the public by 10% of the difference, providing that the goods are available immediately, in a sealed box and the local retailer is within a 10 miles radius of one of our stores. This guarantee is subject to the availability of goods. The price guarantee includes our free delivery service

 

7 Day Protection

In the event that you see your purchased product available within the terms of our Price Guarantee at a lower price within 7 days we will promise to refund the difference between the price paid and the confirmed price offered.

 

Verification

All price matches must be verified either by written evidence,(e.g. written quotation, recent advert etc.,) or by verbal confirmation from our competitors.

 

Internet and Warehouse clubs

We do not beat prices offered by our competitors on the internet or by warehouse clubs or any retail club requiring membership

Delivery

We carry most of our products on stock, available for delivery direct to your home within 7 working days (Subject to delivery area).Any items such as special orders that are not kept on stock will be delivered once they arrive and we have arranged a suitable delivery date, Please contact us for our delivery charges as they vary from product to product. Our main delivery area is within the Hull postal code but we can deliver outside the Hull postal code depending on the size of order/item. For larger items outside the Hull area we may use the manufactures delivery service at an additional cost.
We do not deliver outside UK Mainland.

We insist that all goods must be delivered to the credit card billing address to prevent credit card fraud. However if there is a genuine reason for you requesting delivery to a different address such as moving house please state the reason on the order form. It is also important that you contact your card issuer and advise them of your transaction.

We have our own fleet of vehicles operating a 2 man delivery service throughout the Hull area. This gives us greater control over delivery times and also ensures that our drivers handle your goods with care. All customers will be offered a delivery window of am (EAST HULL) or pm (WEST HULL) and a convenient day. If you are receiving a large item such as An American fridge freezer or range cooker please ensure that assistance is available on delivery and door ways are wide enough. In some cases we can offer additional help but this could incur extra costs.

 
Please Note:

 

· We endeavour to meet all delivery bookings but can not be held responsible for situations beyond our control.

· Deliveries will be scheduled between Monday and Saturday

· We recommend that you organise the fitting of your appliances once they have been delivered and inspected to your satisfaction.

· Cancellation at the point of delivery will incur a charge of £49.50 per item and £99.00 for all appliances 70cm or over in width.


Availability

All items are subject to availability. We can only guarantee availability while stocks last. If the goods ordered are unavailable we will contact you and give you the option of a suitable alternative. We will endeavour to deliver goods within the times stated but goods are subject to availability and delay in delivery of goods is sometimes beyond our control. Any delivery dates specified are approximate and we cannot take responsibility for any losses, costs, damages, charges or expenses caused by any delay.

Damages

We recommend that all products should be inspected for damage prior to the courier or manufacturer leaving your premises. If this not possible please inspect the goods at your earliest convenience but within 24 hours of delivery. After this period we are unable to accept claims for damages. We will only accept the return of goods if they have not been used or connected.

In the unlikely event of a product being damaged on delivery please contact us immediately to enable us to resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

Faulty Goods

Claims regarding faulty goods will be subject to the terms and conditions of the manufacturers warranty but this does not affect your statutory rights.

If a product has been installed the manufacturer will need to send a service engineer to inspect the appliance to establish the nature of the fault. Please remember if a product is found to be installed incorrectly the manufacturer reserves the right to charge for the service call. If installing a gas appliance we recommend the use of a qualified CORGI engineer, who will have the proper certification.

Cancellations And Returns

You are entitled to withdraw from this contract up to 7 working days after the day of delivery for a full credit or refund less any applicable collection charges. If you do wish to withdraw from the contract you must notify us either in writing or by e-mail within the said time period.

Should you wish to cancel your order we can arrange the safe return of your goods provided they have not been used, fitted or removed from their original packaging. Our collection charge is £49.95 per item or £99.95 for any appliances 70cm or above in width. We reserve the right to request photographic evidence of the condition of the products and packaging prior to collection.

If the packaging has been removed or tampered with we can no longer be held responsible for transporting the items safely and you must arrange the return of the goods to our warehouse within 14 days of delivery. Once the goods have been inspected to our satisfaction we will reimburse the full amount excluding any applicable delivery or collection charges.

If you decide that you do not wish to proceed with your order at the point of delivery, you will be charged the relevant collection charge as stated above to cover the safe return of the products.

If you wish to return a 'Special Order item' you will incur a 20% restocking charge to cover the return of the product to the Manufacturer in addition to any relevant collection charges to cover transport costs. 'Special Order Items' will be clearly stated on your order.

Disclaimer

Whilst we try our utmost to ensure the accuracy of our site we cannot be held responsible for typographical errors, colour accuracy or image discrepancies. We have the right to refuse or cancel any orders listed at the incorrect price whether or not the order has been confirmed. If your credit card has already been charged we will immediately issue a credit to your account equal to the value of the original payment taken.

Prices and availability are subject to change without notice.

All dates and times given for delivery are given in good faith, we endeavour to meet all agreed schedules, however we cannot be held responsible for any loss of time or monies resulting from delayed, missed or incorrect deliveries.

Descriptions relating to products are a brief guide. We therefore recommend all product features and technical information is confirmed with manufacturer before purchase.

‘Cookies’ are small pieces of information that are stored on your computer’s hard drive by your browser. The cookies expire at the end of each session and are not stored either on our server or your personal computer.
Guarantee

All products are covered by a minimum of 12 months warranty however certain brands carry a total of two years parts & labour warranty subject to the customer registering with the manufacturer. Claims for promotional warranties must be claimed for within the set time according to the Manufacturers conditions.

All products must be installed and used in accordance with the manufacturers instructions. This does not effect your statuary rights.



Brands Stocked
